Luv in Night Shades

"Love comes in all forms, shapes, sizes..." and apparently potatoes. The food gods must know i won't pass up the opportunity to help reveal how beautiful nature can be. What are the chances. I was going through some small potatoes I was prepping for dinner and I ran into these two at the bottom of the bowl....

charming at best... taste great I'm sure, but i'll never know since i had to compost them after some busy and productive weeks, in other words I took too long to photograph them. However, they remain in my pictorial memory <3

peach love

no photoshop illusion. you see it correctly. i bought this peach at a farmer's market while picking out peaches and saw this "heart" image crafted by the skin of the fruit. i was amazed and so was the cashier. nature is amazing. could peaches have birthmarks? i couldn't help but wonder how it would taste. i photographed it and then we shared and ate it and yes..it was very sweet, just like love should be.
