the power of water to heal
i prescribed a four foot wave to crash at my chest
sand to declare a love addiction with my feet
the sun to set to my right
and to watch my daughter in conversation with jelly fish and emersed in castles

i laughed
thought of reasons to smile
and breathed through reasons to cry
