"Nothing personal: The War on A Modern Stereotype"

We attended a photo exhibit this weekend in Charlotte, NC which displayed the work of my sister from different parents, Jasiatic. Visitors were challenged to rethink their own stereotypes of single motherhood. The exhibit was based on her work documenting her adorable and often "flier than most" children as well as "more than just a mommy" self portraits.

This post is dedicated to a close friend miriam and her new life in Costa Rica. I (along with my 9 month old of course) went to visit her and fam in Atlanta before she left to South America. I am inspired by her fearlessness and love of adventure.
